The Duke of Sussex will be taking a two-day tour of Zambia this autumn unfortunately without Megan Markle, where he will arrive in the country on November 26 for his visit, which is at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

During his trip he will be attending a board meeting for African Parks, a non-profit organisation of which he is President.

Founded in 2000, African Parks takes on direct responsibility for the rehabilitation and long-term management of protected areas in partnership with governments and local communities. It applies a business approach to conservation to protect Africa’s wildlife, restore landscapes and ensure sustainable livelihoods for local communities. It also focuses on achieving financial sustainability of the parks to create a ‘conservation-led economy’.
Harry and Meghan, 37, attended a private Kensington Palace dinner for the conservation NGO, which manages national parks and protected areas, last week.

On arriving in Zambia, Harry will attend an event that celebrates UK-Zambia relations, where he will meet representatives from British businesses working in Zambia as well as young people and key figures working in the conservation sector.

The following day, he will visit Burma Barracks to attend an event commemorating WWI and WWII Zambian veterans. The Duke will then attend an event for The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, followed by a visit to Circus Zambia, an organisation that helps young people from vulnerable backgrounds. Harry's final engagement in Zambia will be a visit to BongoHive, the country’s first technology and innovation hub.

With strong ties to African Parks, Price Harry’s visit is sure to shine a light on Zambia’s fantastic tourism offer and conservation efforts!
